20th International Conference on Organized Molecular Films - ICOMF 20

We are pleased to announce the 20th edition of the International Conference on Organized Molecular Films, to be held from July 5 to 9, 2027, in Foz do Iguaçu.
The ICOMF conference series originated in 1982 in Durham, UK, initially focused on Langmuir–Blodgett films, and has since evolved into a broad and interdisciplinary forum covering molecular organization at interfaces. Over the past decades, the scope of the conference has expanded significantly, encompassing interfacial phenomena, self-assembled and nano-structured systems, molecular films, and related nanomaterials, including nanoparticle-based architectures.

ICOMF 20 will continue this tradition by bringing together researchers from diverse areas to discuss advances in molecular organization across different interfaces, from classical Langmuir systems to emerging nanoengineered and hybrid platforms. Contributions addressing experimental, theoretical, and applied aspects of organized molecular films and nanoscale systems are welcome.

The conference aims to provide a dynamic environment for scientific exchange, fostering interactions among researchers from academia and industry, and promoting new collaborations across disciplines.

The venue, Foz do Iguaçu, is internationally recognized for its natural heritage, including the iconic Iguaçu Falls, offering a distinctive setting that combines scientific discussion with a remarkable landscape. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the region during the conference.

We look forward to welcoming you to Brazil for ICOMF 20.
